- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I just stayed for days.. let me tell you what I did and didn't like... The ER was crowded ... that's expected.. but the ER staff and Drs was doing the best the could to get every one seem and taken care of.. I was admitted into the hospital the patient rooms were full and I had to stay in an over flow area they called area 160... I hated it ... it was a area where the curtain seperates the patient from the bed beside them. They were 6 beds lined up with only curtains separating patients from one another. I could hear the nurses discussing the patients names and diagnosis at the nurses desk and even with the patients. So this isn't keeping patient confidentiality!! One of the nurses was upset because she was moved to that area from her regular 5 th floor nurses station and boy was she rude with me as well as other patients . When I was allowed to eat I was given only cereal didn't get a choice and they brought me hot exspired milk .. when I complained the brought dry cereal no milk.. the bathroom is halfway down the hall. I was given meds and the room I was in didn't have a call button so I had to get up out of bed on droggy meds and wasn't offered help after they saw me about to fall several times.. On my last day went up to the 4th floor omg it was like I was in heaven compared to the way I was treated in over . The nurses were awesome the rooms were cleaned every thing worked properly.. My heart procedure and the Doctor as well as staff in the procedure room was awesome. The hospital Dr's was wonderful especially Dr. Brenda Garland.. she explained everything and did every test offered to pin point my diagnosises . I am beyond satisfied with her and some of the all around Staff .. Would I go back to this hospital? Absolutely!! I'd just pray the over flow admitting area is betterOctober 10, 2017by opal Barrett
